Tonight's homework

It is correct that there is no math homework sheet tonight.  The copy machine was down this afternoon.  Feel free to encourage your child to practice math in other ways, such as XtraMath and IXL.  They could also get on their Everyday Math account (through ConnectEd) and show you the new game, Baseball Multiplication, that we learned this week.
Keep practicing your multiplication skills!

In addition, students received and brought home their kindness matters shirts today.  Please have your child wear it to school tomorrow, Friday the 3rd. We are wrapping up Kindness Month with an assembly and would love for everyone to show their school spirit!

Halloween Parade

The parade will be held on Monday, October 31st at 1:30 pm.  After the parade we will have a popcorn party.  Students need to bring their costume to school in a bag labeled with their name and room code (3B).  We will change into our costumes after P.E. (ends at 1:10).  Please DO NOT send your child to school in their costume and/or make-up.

Costumes must be appropriate for school (non-violent).  Characters from horror movies, scary and/or bloody masks are not permitted.  No weapons of any kind.

Alternate activities will be provided for students who do not celebrate Halloween OR parents can pick up students early from school.

Please let your child's teacher and/or the office know ahead of time if you do not want your child to participate in the Halloween parade and popcorn party.

If you are coming to Glenn to watch the parade, please stand along either side of Glenn Avenue.

If you have any questions, please contact the school office at 557-4418.
Thank you!
